This Strategic Plan 2026-2031 is the result of a structured planning process involving Council, its senior management and community-wide input. The process included a series of planning sessions designed to identify the key issues and opportunities facing the Municipality. Through these discussions and engagement, common themes emerged and were consolidated into three strategic directions that form the foundation of this five-year strategic plan. Each Strategic Direction was further examined to establish clear objectives and desired outcomes to guide decision-making and service delivery for the life of the Plan.
The Strategic Plan’s implementation and its outcomes will be monitored annually and progress will be reported publicly through Council and to the community.
